Tutor Profile: Located in Central London, London Art Portfolio is run by Julia Dennis, a practicing artist who exhibits regularly nationally and internationally. She offers portfolio preparation courses and training in fine art, painting, sculpture, fashion and textile design, fashion photography, animation and illustration. We offer group art workshops and one-to-one portfolio tutorials which can take place at Julia’s studio near Tower Bridge, London or online. Our courses run year-round including during the Christmas, half term, Easter and summer breaks.
London Art Portfolio prepares students for different levels of art and design development through ongoing portfolio support and direction, dissertation research and support. Julia has 100% success rate for student placement onto University courses at the best London Universities and Foundation courses. Our courses attract a vibrant, diverse mix of creative students from all over the world, great for making new friends and fully enjoying London too!
As well as one-one portfolio preparation sessions, London Art Portfolio now offers a 6 week course programme for portfolio preparation. This consists of 12 hours tuition per week, made up of 3 hour sessions each day (Monday – Thursday). These 3 hour sessions offer flexibility around your own schedule, as you can choose to either attend a morning, afternoon or evening slot on each day.
The morning slots run from 10am – 1pm, afternoon slots from 2pm – 5pm, and evening slots from 6pm – 9pm. You can select and book in advance, which slot you would like to attend each day, depending on your availability and other commitments.
London Art Portfolio also offers evening workshops in the studio:
Mondays 6:30-9:00pm - Portfolio Building course (10 weeks - £300)
Tuesdays 6:30-9:00pm - Life Drawing workshops (£25 per workshop)
Wednesdays 6:30-9:00pm - Fashion Illustration workshops (£25 per workshop)
Thursdays 6:30-9:00pm - Drawing & Painting workshops (£25 per workshop)
These workshops are aimed at those wishing to develop their portfolios, as well as those who may be looking to start up, or continue, a hobby. These workshops are pay-as-you-go (24hrs in advance) or can be block booked to secure your place, and are suitable for all ability levels (beginners welcome).
