This masterclass focuses on AQA A-level Psychology Research Methods exam questions using practice papers and a Layered Learning recap approach. As Research Methods makes up around 30% of the course and appears in every exam, students will learn how to apply their knowledge correctly, develop their answers and include enough detail to gain higher marks.The class will run every Monday at 6 pm and is a 6 weeks programme (and run throughout the year).See attachment for more details

This masterclass teaches students the exam techniques and writing skills needed to gain higher marks in AQA A-level Psychology. Students will learn how examiners award marks, how to avoid common mistakes and how to write focused AO1, AO2 and AO3 answers without wasting time.The session covers short-answer questions, application skills, effective evaluation paragraphs and the correct structure for different essay types, including outline and evaluate, discuss and comparison essays. Students will also learn practical Research Methods hacks to improve contextualisation and avoid losing easy marks.For more detailed and intensive Research Methods support, students should also attend the separate Research Methods Masterclass.£35 per lesson and runs for approxiamley 10 weeks (they run a couple of times of the year).Lessons are every Monday at 7.30 pmPlease see attachment.
