I started teaching in 1999, and through my roles as a secondary school teacher, Head of Mathematics and Head of Sixth Form, I have supported thousands of children both academically and emotionally, to achieve their potential in Mathematics. In 2019 I started Maths Plus Tuition, a tutoring company focusing on providing high quality, online lessons to children aged 11 to 18. Using my 25 years’ experience in teaching Mathematics, I have developed courses to support the learning of children at the different stages in their Mathematical journey. For the younger children I offer 1 session per week to improve confidence and understanding of the important key skills, and for children in Years 10/11, I offer targeted GCSE courses which improves understanding and confidence, whilst developing recall and application skills. By enrolling onto one of my courses, your son/daughter will be fully supported to achieve their potential with most improving by 2 grades or more in their GCSE examinations.
