Hi 👋 my name is Claire and I've been tutoring since 2015. I have worked in mainstream and specialist schools, supporting students of varying needs and abilities, providing individual tailored programmes of learning. I have also worked as an intervention teacher, specialising in analysing data for small groups and creating my own schemes of work to guide these students through their exams and boost progress. I have experience tutoring KS2, SATs, GCSE higher and foundation and functional skills, providing appropriate resources. I have been marking GCSE papers since 2014, so I know where and how marks are allocated as well as common misconceptions and mistakes made by students, which I use to inform my teaching. I have excellent subject knowledge and a wide range of resources. I am DBS checked and up to date on all relevant safeguarding training.
