I am young (ish!! teacher well I like to think so anyway!!) who enjoys teaching and is passionate about the job. I have been teaching children for 21 years both in infant and primary schools and through tutoring. I have 9 years experience of teaching in a school setting and I have 13 years worth of teaching exclusively through tutoring. I have trained to teach across KS1 and 2 and I am confident teaching older students and the majority of the children I tutor are Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and GCSE.

I am a friendly, approachable tutor who teaches in a variety of ways that would appeal to a range of learning styles. I have a structured, fun approach. Being a teacher means that I have access to a range of current resources and am very aware of the way children are currently being taught in school and can plan my tutoring sessions accordingly.

I privately tutor both mainstream students and SEN students as well as working with SEN students for the local authority. My children both have SEN so working with children with additional needs is very close my heart.
