Hello! I am an English teacher and Senior Examiner with over 22 years’ experience working in top-performing grammar schools as well as tutoring students internationally.

I have two boys at home, one in primary school and one in secondary; they both have dyslexia so I am well-versed in strategies to support reading difficulties.

I am an author of multiple educational books, and have a Master's degree in Education. Recently, my work has focussed on teacher training and delivering CPD in schools, helping them get the best GCSE and A-Level English results for their students.

My areas of expertise are supporting students to move from Grade 3 to 4, and stretching high attainers to reach Grade 9.
