I am a KS4 Science and A level Biology tutor, with 8 years classroom teaching experience. I completed a BSc in Biology and French, followed by an MSc and PhD in parasites and vectors.

Following post-doctoral research posts in the UK, North Africa and South America, publishing peer-reviewed articles, I completed a Pоstgrаduаte Certificаte in Educаtiоn (PGCE) аnd Quаlified Teаcher Stаtus (QTS). In my previous teaching post, I was also Assistant Head of 6th Form, helping students transitioning from KS4-5 and preparing A level students for post-18 study and life.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, concentrating on building a solid foundation in the core concepts, with a strong focus on exam technique, hints and tips. I tailor my lessons to your learning style and academic goals, simplifying complex topics with real-time feedback. I'm passionate about making science easy to understand and helping students improve grades and confidence.
