I am a physics and maths teacher with 20 years teaching experience. I am passionate about helping pupils understand this fascinating subject so that they can reach their potential.

My approach to tutoring is to ensure students understand the areas of learning they are struggling with and build on that to ensure confidence in all areas of the course. I challenge pupils on what they already know to ensure it is correctly reinforced and their confidence grows. I tutor using reciprocal learning, where students are able to independently learn a topic and then have a tutorial style lesson where they reinforce that learning. Tutoring styles are always adapted to the needs of the learner which is very quickly established.
