I am an experienced (12+ yrs) and creative teacher specialising in KS1 phonics, reading, and writing. I am fully trained in Read, Write, Inc. and Letters and Sounds, and I have also utilised various other programmes, including Little Wandle. My teaching approach is designed to capture students' enthusiasm for learning through creative, personalised lessons that meet their individual needs and provide appropriate challenges.

I encourage active participation, inquiry, and discovery, supporting children in becoming independent learners. It brings me joy to witness their "aha moments" and see their confidence grow as they make progress in their learning. I believe in maintaining open communication with parents and provide regular updates on their child’s progress to ensure we work together in supporting their learning journey.

I offer 1:1 tutoring (or group sessions upon request) in the following areas:

- KS1 or children working at this level

- KS1 homework assistance

- Phonics and reading

- Writing

I travel to your location for all sessions. Please get in touch if you're interested or have any further questions!
