I am a qualified teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching in schools across KS1 and KS2. As an educator, I am fortunate enough to thoroughly love my job and can’t think of anything else I would rather do.

I pride myself on bringing the very best out of each and every child (irrespective of their level) and my current role as an intervention specialist allows me to do just that. Teaching in focused groups has allowed me to see the immediate impact of my work through bringing pupils up to speed with their grammar, spelling, vocabulary and sentence structure.

Through my tuition, I have successfully raised children’s levels, enabling them to achieve excellent SATs and 11+ results, thus gaining entry into a variety of private and grammar schools.

Writing is a personal passion of mine and I relish the opportunity to introduce new literary techniques, ambitious vocabulary and complex grammatical structures to children. I will always model how to write a piece before asking the child to do so.

I frequently adapt my teaching technique to the individual child. From my experience in the classroom, I understand that all children are unique; what comes naturally to one, might be a challenge for another. As a parent, you can be assured that I tailor my lessons to bring out the best in your children.
