Hi, I'm David, a tutor with fifteen-years experience working with English & History GCSE students. I still get a kick out of seeing my students blossom, particularly when they not only reach their academic goals, but surpass them. In addition to my role as a professional tutor, I am also a successful internationally published author and historian. During the summer months I work as a guide with the UK's leading battlefield tour company.

My online tutorials are tailored to your needs, and as such you will find me to be flexible, creative, and supportive. I have a great passion for the subjects that I teach, and my enthusiasm and lively approach serves to ensure that my students remain engaged and ready to fully participate.

English Language specialities: Writer's viewpoints & perspectives, creative writing, spelling & grammar, structuring an essay, and long exam question responses.

I have accrued thousands of hours tuition since 2011, and during that time I have helped hundreds of students to get the grades they needed in order to pursue their chosen path into higher education or employment. Some of my former students have gone on to enjoy successful careers in medicine and the law.

It is my firm belief that all young people deserve the opportunity to better themselves through education, and by providing a firm academic foundation, the sky is the limit!
